The Mission of the "Ticket 1 Express"
The "Ticket 1 Express" is a 16-passenger shuttle bus, professionally driven, that is available for employees, clients, prospective clients, and "friends of the firm" for their use in attending local community events. Traffic Law Center use of the shuttle is intended to be non-profit, revenue neutral venture. When the bus is not in use for Traffic Law Center company and/or client events, the shuttle may be booked by other groups through Sullivan Charter Service, LLC for an hourly rate.
The mission of the "TICKET 1 Express" is to spread the word about the dangers of distracted driving. Before each trip begins, passengers are asked to watch a short video that warns of the dangers of distracted driving, such as cell phone use and texting while driving.
Each trip must be a "charter", i.e. it must have a starting point, a specific destination, a specific passenger list, and a specific business purpose that furthers the business interests of the Traffic Law Center, its clients, vendors, or potential clients. All trips must be pre-planned, and have a specific written itinerary. Per local ordinance, the vehicle may not be used as a "vehicle for hire" like a taxi cab, airport shuttle, or to provide transportation for guests in or around taxicab stands or hotels.
